Carey Ann Cyr grew up in New England, where a handshake still means something. Eighteen years ago she followed the music to Nashville, traded the coastline for the Cumberland, and made Middle Tennessee her home.

She earned her degree from the University of New Hampshire's Whittemore School of Business, then spent her career turning that training into something personal: getting families home. About five years ago she co-opened the local branch of CMG Home Loans and built a team around one simple idea, that the people closing your loan should care as much as you do.

Today that team is eleven loan officers strong. Together they help more than 1,400 families a year find their way to the closing table, and Carey Ann still knows most of those stories by name.
